We are happy to present Atti Vakili Wheeler in our Art Demonstration Series for 2023-2024. Atti will demonstrate her techniques and provide a hands-on experience to participants. This event is free and open to the public.

About the Artist: Atti Wheeler is an oil and mixed media artist who currently lives and works in Annandale, VA. She received her B.FA. Degree in Fine Arts from Accademia di belle Arti University in Rome, majoring in design and painting.
Atti works with oil and mixed media materials in 2-dimensional format. Oil painting, spray painting, acrylics and collage are materials and processes she incorporates in her works.

  Her artistic journey began as a student in Europe when she travelled extensively through Turkey, France, Germany and Italy, constantly taking art classes and experiencing museums and art galleries. All this contributed to her artistic expressions. Wheeler's work is characterized by its use of vibrant colors and bold shapes. She often incorporates found objects (like shells) into her paintings giving her work a sense of movement and energy. Wheeler's artistry has been praised for its beauty and its ability to evoke peace and tranquility. Her award-wining work has been exhibited in Europe and the U.S., including Washington D.C.’s Moca Art Gallery and Touchstone Gallery.

Atti has received many accolades, including awards from Alexandria Art League, Moca Art Gallery in Washington D.C., and the Fairfax Art Gallery where she is a member.
